I am selling one very, very clean, near bone stock 1990 Kawasaki KX 250. This bike is historically significant is it was the first perimeter framed motocross bike, and came after the famous 1989 Kawi line up, which was very good as well. The 90 KX's had a very cool and unique look to them.  This was (well not this specific bike, but others like it) the same bike ridden by Factory Kawi riders Jeff Ward and Johnny "Oshow" O'mara during the 1990 AMA Motocross and Supercross season, and made famous by other Team Green riders like Jeff Emig back in that era of motocross and dirt bike racing. 

This specific bike is in really good, really clean condition for its age. It could be very easily restored to brand new condition, or used as a cool starting point for a vintage AHRMA or EVO racer. 

The only items on it that are not stock on it are a FMF expansion chamber, grips (Scott MX2) and the air filter (Uni).  The rest of the bike is bone stock, right down to handlebars and wheels. It has been California trail ridden its whole life, which means no rocks or mud, and it was very well taken care of by its previous owner. The previous owner did ONE top end, and it is the stock bore.

Please do look carefully at the photos. The bike has been ridden, but total hours are very low. Restoring it to brand new condition would not be that hard. Paint the frame and install new number plate backgrounds and the bike will look amazing. The OEM plastic does have some light and minor scuffs, but they still look very, very good for the age. I do have a clean CA title for this bike.

·   Buy it now price: The last few times I tried that option on ebay, the stupid Nigerian scammers bought it and sent me bogus checks, and wasted my time. It was kinda funny to deal with them, because I knew they were trying to scam me (I yelled at them and called them all sorts of names), but I wont use that ebay option any more, as I don’t feel it is safe. If you are a serious buyer, hit me up and we can talk via telephone. 

I will sell these bikes as a lot.

·      I can help you with shipping, but shipping costs are all on the buyers. I can provide both suggestions for international and domestic crated and or palleted shipping. I do have experience with this method of shipping and will do whatever I can to assist.

·      Just contact me with your questions or whatever, I am around and available, and want to see these goto the right home.

·      This bike must be paid for in full within ten days of close, and picked up within 20, or I will charge storage. I am not eager to store bikes for other people and don’t have the room.

·      These are old bikes, and as such, I make no warrantee’s of any kind .

Some other random things to include in the very fine print at the bottom on the ad (cause no one reads this far down): This is not a factory race bike like the awesome SR500 and SR 250 models, but I sure wish it was! This auction is for a vintage restored 1976 KX125 Kawasaki.
It has been completely rebuild including splitting the cases.Im still trying to find an OEM front number plate but parts for this guy are very rare.
The original rod was fine but the bearings were showing some age so it was replaced with a new unit.
Tapered bearings were installed in the steering head for convience and better feel while racing.
Comes with a clear Title in my name.

For sale is My 1995 Kawasaki KX250 Dirt Bike. Don't let the year model discourage you. This bike is in really good condition. I am 41 years old and I've ridden this bike for the past two years in the woods. I did not race it, by any means, We just ride about once a month on trails in the woods. As you can see in the pictures, its really clean for the year. I just did a top end this winter, It has less than an hour on it. It does have a "boreable sleeve".  I also replaced ALL the power valve internal parts.  I rebuilt the front forks also this winter. The rear tire has one ride on it. It has a Pro Circuit exhaust with the 304 silencer. It has new front and rear brake shoes.  Sprockets and chain have about 6 rides on them. As you can see in the pictures, it has Factory Effex Graphics, and no crackes in any plastic. I do not have a title, I did not get one when I purchased it. I will give a certified bill of sale with the bike. All shipping and packaging fees are the responsibility of the buyer. Buyer is also responsible for arranging freight set up and all fees. Local pick up is encouraged. A $500 deposite is due within 48 hours  of auction end. This bike is also being sold "as is" no warranty is given or implied on this sale.
