This bike was purchased new from a dealer last year.  It has had very limited use, as we have other
bikes.  It has the balance of the 3-year
factory warranty, appx. 2 1/2 years, and the balance of the 36,000 mile
warranty.  Adult ridden.  Dealer installed 2-inch risers, GPS or iPod
bracket, heated grips, Two Brothers Racing pipe for a throaty acceleration
sound, but still quiet at cruising speed.

For sale is a 2007 Kawasaki KLX 250 dual sport machine. This bike is a dual purpose motorcycle, this means it is trail and street. You can use the bike to play in the dirt off-road as well as legally drive it down the road. The bike is a 4-stroke, so it is not too loud, it doesn't bother any one. It has a 250cc engine. Which is not small at all, you can legally take the bike on highways, as well as take a passenger on it as it is equipped with passenger pegs. The bike does have some nice features such as a helmet lock (to lock your helmet so you don't have to carry it around when your drive some where), a luggage rack (to tie some thing down if you happen to buy items when on the motorcycle), a tool kit (to store emergency tools if needed), extra turn signal lights (for hgiher visibility), a kawasaki license plate bracket (to add a nice look to the bike), a key / fork lock (so know one can steal the motorcycle), a bar pad (prevents you from getting hurt if you happen to hit the handle bar), hand guards (keeps your hands safer from stones thrown up), a tripple charge wire connected to the battery (easy way to charge your battery during storage), trip set (to keep track of how many miles you go), radiator equipped with fan (to keep the engine cooler), tachometer (to see how fast the engine is going), the bike has the equipment like a street bike would have to be legally driven on the road such as: head light, tail light / brake light, turn signals, horn, mirrors, speedometer, etc. The bike is a 6 speed and shifts smooth. The tires on it are less than 8 months old and have alot of tread left on them, practically brand new. They are 70% street and 30% off-road. The anti-freeze in the radiator was just changed this year; as well as the oil and oil filter. The air filter has been cleaned this year, and the bike has been maintained often. I am the orignal owner and I have taken very good care of it, I keep up with the maintenance as a motorcycle owner should, with a newer spark plug and inner tube. All the electronics work, including lights. I always would keep it in good shape by washing it, keeping it well oiled (especially the chain) and check nuts and bolts for tightness. The bike is in overall good shape, its ready to start up and drive away, it has electric start so theres no worry of kick starting it. I enjoyed this machine alot and it is very sad to see it go, but I'm selling it because things are getting expensive for me as a student and I need to start fixing up my car. I am including with the sale the original owners manual, as well as a full coverage lime green helmet to match the shiny green color on the bike and If I still have them I will include some extra plastic pieces I bought such as a fender, side panel, etc.  The bike has some expected scrathes on it but nothing too severe. It was always kept in the garage and never beat on. I had loads of fun riding this machine and I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did. If theres anything you would like to know, send me a message. THE BIKE NEEDS A TUBE IN THE REAR BUT THE TIRES ARE PERFECT, THE BIKE HAS A PIPE AND JETTING WITH OPEN AIR FILTER, I SPENT ABOUT $300 FOR THE THE PIPE IT ALSO HAS BARS THAT COST ME ABOUT $75-100.I HAVE ANOTHER SET OF GREEN PLASTICS THAT WILL GO WITH THE BIKE AND WINNING BIDDER. This is a nice bike bought it for my son in 2006 brand new and he hadly road it at all it might have 30 hours on it . It has been in shed. I got it out and it started right up . Nice machine. Paid 2671.00 new.
