The aluminum Bilateral Beam frame provides a superb rigidity balance that complements the engine for unmatched lightweight handling and cornering. The result? The best cornering, most nimble 450F for all track conditions.
Revamped looks deliver new-generation styling, including front and rear fenders, intake cover, front fork protector, and number plate, along with the fuel tank and seat.
Accessory GYTR® Power Tuner lets bike tuners adjust air/fuel mixture and ignition timing maps to match engine performance characteristics to the rider and track conditions.

Engine:

The rearward-slanted engine allowed engineers to design straight intake and exhaust ports, creating the most direct path for air flow into the fuel-injected engine for incredible performance.
The YZ450F uses a battery-less fuel injection system with a 12-hole injector for superb fuel atomization. The 44mm Keihin® throttle body is designed for easy starting, with an integrated cold start and idle speed adjustment knob. Yamaha FI provides optimal air/fuel mixtures in all altitudes and wide range of temperatures for outstanding throttle response.
14 volt / 110W high output generator powers the battery less fuel injection system.
4-titanium valve cylinder head with a “pent-roof” design combustion chamber provides excellent combustion efficiency and unequalled power output.
Intake and exhaust camshaft profile changes to increase valve working angle and valve lift for most excellent performance at all rpm.
The bigger 97.0mm bore and shorter 60.8mm stroke, along with a higher 12.5:1 compression ratio, create a combustion chamber that delivers really impressive power.
The air filter case is changed to accommodate the engine layout. Putting it up front keeps dirt and dust kicked up from the rear tire away from the intake system.
“Tornado-style” exhaust header with resonator efficiently scavenges exhaust gasses and helps the engine achieve its exceptional low-to-mid range torque characteristics, while the 150mm-longer muffler comfortably meets the latest noise standards without a sacrifice of power.
Clutch and transmission components have been designed to give the rider great shifting feel.

Chassis/Suspension:

The aluminum Bilateral Beam frame is crafted from a carefully chosen combination of forged and extruded aluminum, 16 components in all, for the right rigidity balance and light weight. A very symmetrical chassis design promotes nimble handling, letting riders enter and exit corners as quickly as possible to put the competition behind them.
Skid plate is constructed from tough polypropylene for great protection and low weight.
The swingarm and rear shock are redesigned, with the shock mounted along the central axis of the frame, taking advantage of the space no longer needed for the front-mounted airbox. This optimized combination delivers exceptionally linear performance for excellent bump absorption and awesome cornering ability.
The KYB® Speed Sensitive front fork has excellent feel and shock absorption.
KYB® rear shock with large capacity piggy back reservoir and 50mm piston for more consistent damping control.
Fuel tank is positioned underneath the seat, contributing to the centralized mass. The seat is long and flat for to allow free rider movement.
Rear sprocket shape has a trick appearance and is light weight.
The triple clamps are designed, with a change in offset from 25 to 22 mm for unequalled cornering performance. The ProTaper® bars are four-way adjustable to accommodate a wide range of riders.
The front and rear fenders, along with the number plate, side cover and front fork protector have been designed for an aggressive look. A minimalistic design is used to accentuate the handling character of the bike. Less plastic is used to expose and enhance the lightweight aluminum frame.

**Awesome 2007 YZ 450F Dirt Bike**Very Clean Hardly ridden 2007 Yamaha YZ 450F Dirt Bike. This bike has been very well taken care of, always garaged, oil changed after every ride. The bike has literally only been ridden a handful of times and is only on it's 2nd rear tire. New grips, aftermarket fork seals with seal savers, aftermarket graphics, new grips with doughnuts, no toil air filter, stainless steal cleanable oil filter. This bike runs like new and always starts first/second kick, never raced or dune ridden... a near new bike for a fraction of the price. The pictures speak for themselves but it looks twice as good in person. Clean title in hand. The only flaw is a small dent in the header pipe and right rad from falling over. Only selling the bikes to help pay for a down payment on a new home. I am also listing my wife's 2005 TTR 125 which is also cherry and rarely ridden and may be willing to do a package deal.Local pickup only. New for 2012:

Engine refinements, including a larger 39mm carburetor, optimized CDI, and lighter piston with a lighter piston pin, mean YZ250F has more power as well as exceptional throttle response in the mid-to-high speed range.
The crankshaft web design is revised to match the lighter piston and reduce high-rpm vibration.
The air cleaner cage is a new design that provides increased airflow, contributing to the excellent throttle response in the mid-to-high speed range.
The new muffler is designed to meet 94 dB standards.
The new Bilateral Beam frame with a revised balance of longitudinal, lateral, and torsional rigidity is used for superior cornering performance, especially while exiting turns, as well as great stability on rough, high-speed straights.
YZ250F has beefy new outer fork tubes and triple clamps. The result? An increase in the front fork assembly’s torsional rigidity for unmatched chassis stability.
Fork offset has been changed from 25mm to 22mm to accommodate the new frame design. This shortened offset increases trail length which, in turn, contributes to excellent stability and reduces the inertial moment of the front fork assembly for quick, race-winning handling. The rider can take advantage of the higher level of performance throughout the turn.
The redesigned axle block portions of the swingarm provide greater rigidity to further optimize the rigidity balance between the new frame and the revised front fork assembly.
Front and rear suspension settings have been optimized for the new frame design, including a shock that uses a 16mm shaft for optimal hydraulic flow, resulting in exceptionally smooth suspension and great traction capability.
New seat foam material has an excellent cushion feel.
Both color options feature rich-looking black rims and a gold-color drive chain.

Engine:

The valve spring retainers are lightweight aluminum instead of steel, and light valve spring pressure reduces valve-opening force. Valve stem ends are chromium-nitride coated for exceptional reliability and reduced maintenance.
The exhaust port is “D” shaped instead of round. This increases velocity through the port for excellent throttle response, while enhancing the power feeling of the engine.
The low-mounted radiator is as far back as possible and the compact oil tank is positioned to achieve greater mass centralization.
The new 39mm carburetor has a venturi-shaped bore, plus recalibrated jetting and an accelerator pump. This translates to impressive response when the rider snaps open the throttle, and contributes to superb mid-to-high-rpm power characteristics.
The intake boot offers a straight, smooth tract for excellent engine breathing and more power. The airbox is shaped to tuck neatly into the Bilateral Beam frame.
The exhaust pipe has been carefully tuned to optimize engine power, with a new muffler that meets 94 dB standards.

 93 Yamaha Yz250 two stroke I built this bike from many boxes of 250 parts The engine has around ten hours on it and was rebuilt by previous owner and I put the clutch in and it has about 5 hours on it. Brakes work like they should Exhaust is beat up but it works great and has new seals.  The carburetor has been cleaned. New UFO plastics Moose graffiti locking grips pro taper fat handle bars Pro circuit header fmf core 2 muffler not that it muffles much.  The tank was painted black so it will wear over time to white seat cover isn't the best I ordered one for a 250 but got a 125 so it has this one. Leaks oil from the recycle cover not for sure what this is but it doesn't hurt any thing oil in the clutch housing is clean and good the leak is from the mix so its burn off. the exhaust drips oil after all its a two smoker and the tire have about 25% life left.  This bike typically warms up after about 10-15 minutes and is very very fast scares me some times and I'm used to power. I have only mixed the fuel 30:1 and all the fluids have been changed every 5 hours of ride time. This thing is not for the light of hart or those easily scared.  It will come with Kentucky dirt residue It is for the most part clean and will be shipped that way I continue to start it and ride it till it warms up to keep every thing fresh for when you get it I will not ship it with fuel in it so when you get it you will be able to fuel it up and go. I have never shipped an item of this size but will do my best at making it as quick as possible. Shoot me an offer I'm reasonable  Oh yea Milage isn't really 10 its a dirt bike and goes buy hours..
